40兆の貯金が、何故か40万になる。それは、でも嘘話。嘘か本当かも自分でわからない。
場所は沖縄のようなところ。松の木？緑に挟まれた小道を抜けると、浜辺のようなところへ辿り着く。Mとその彼氏がいて、40兆の貯金が40万になってしまって途方に暮れている旨を話すと、Mが浜辺を右に奥へ奥へと案内してくれる。夕方。下に降る。尻尾のようなデザインのものにまたがって、3回ほどうねった道を進みながら降っていく。すると、神社？寺？のようなものが現れて、その一つの母屋に着く。
昼間のような、時間を感じさせない白い空。建物は、赤基調の白。母屋を右にして外廊下を進むと、開けた小さい橋の前に出る。そこでは麒麟のような、蛇のような、竜のような、黄色がかった長い生き物と、お婆さんと、数人の子娘達が戯れている。私たちが来るとその麒麟はスッと一本の橋を通ってやってくる。そして何故か私たちに近づいてきてから、その麒麟の様子がおかしくなる。興奮状態というか、何かに驚いている、集中している様子。橋の両脇には浅いであろう池のようなものがあり、彼女達はその付近にいる。Mも、その近くに入って何かを探している…
何かの拍子に、態度が気に入らなかったか知らないが、その麒麟がMの彼氏を突き飛ばす。その彼氏は左の池に落ちて沈んでいく。私は橋の横のポールのようなものの上で回っている。アイスクリームの1番上みたいな場所で。色は緑。私はその麒麟の興奮を収めようと何故か変な声を発し、威厳のある態度を見せる。すると麒麟は私を見て少し驚きつつも、落ち着きを取り戻し、池に帰っていく。沈んで帰らぬものかと思われたMの彼氏も、その麒麟の力か、突然水面に顔を出す。そして、勢いよく、その池の付近にいる全員が、数メートル先に飛ばされ、そのあまり綺麗とは言えない真水の匂いがする池から距離を置かれる。
そこで徐々に皆起き上がり、急いで自分の荷物を持ち、着替え、そそくさと出口に向かっていく。後輩もいる。ここでの感覚は、体育のプールの時間、皆急いで着替えて出る準備をしている感覚。
皆の忘れ物をチェックするため、最後から3番目に出る。後の2人が来てから、残りのものがないようチェックしてとお願いしつつも、自分も忘れ物をしたことを思い出し引き返すなどするが、なんとか自分も出口に向かう。
すると従業員のオジサン？に3度ほど絡まれる。挨拶や、冗談など。そこで私は振り返りつつ話していたが、Tのご両親と知り合いである事が判明する。少し話して、Tのことも。そして幸せな気持ちで外に辿り着く。

Four trillion yen (approx. two trillion pounds) of my savings becomes 4k yen (approx. 2k pounds) for
some reasons. It might be a lie but I cannot be 100% sure if it is a false or a truth.
The place is like Okinawa. Going through a narrow trail surrounded by green pine trees, I get to a place like the beach. I bump into a friend of mine M and her boyfriend. I tell them that I feel devastated and explain my saving situation. Then, she takes me deeper to the beach on the right. It is in the evening. We are descending astride something designed like a tail. The road is winding three times, and something like a shrine or a temple shows up. We arrive at one of the main buildings.
The completely white sky doesn't let us guess what time it is, but it seems like daytime. The building is red-based and white. We get in front of a small bridge like a pier going forward the corridor outside on the right of the building. There is a long yellow-ish-coloured creature that is like a mix of a giraffe and a snake and a dragon, an old lady, and a few girls playing around. The creature (let me call this a giraffe from now on) notices our existence and comes through the bridge towards us, but something gets wrong with it as it gets closer. It seems in a state of adrenaline rush and concentration. The girls are around a shallow pond on each side of the bridge. M goes into the pond and starts looking for something..
By some chance, the giraffe slaps M's boyfriend away, maybe because it doesn't like his attitude. He falls and sinks into the pond on the left. I am twirling on something like a pole next to the bridge. It is kind of like on the top of ice cream. The colour is green. I make weird sounds and squeak a couple of times and show a dignified attitude to get the giraffe to calm down. It looks surprised a bit at me but gradually he gets normal and goes back into the pond. M's boyfriend, who was thought not to be back anymore, shows his face up on the surface of the pond. It could be thanks to its power. And then, all of a sudden, everyone who is around the pond is forcefully thrown a few meters away. The pond has a bit of a fishy and unhygienic smell.
Everyone wakes up slowly, gathers stuff for each, gets changed quickly, and leaves in a hurry. There are some juniors who went to the same school as me. In this situation, the feeling I have is the same one as when all my classmates including me are getting ready for a swimming class.
I leave at the third from last to check there is no lost item. I ask the last two to check again and realise I left something so I go back, but eventually, I start heading to the exit.
And then, a middle-aged man who seemingly works there talks to me three times, such as greetings and jokings. I turn back to have some chats with him. It turns out he knows T's parents so we talk about them and T for a bit. I get to the outside feeling happy.
